AFM Local 433 Tabling At Events

In addition to several radio and podcast interviews, Local 433 members have participated in community outreach over the past few months by tabling at two events.

Local 433 presence was strong at the May Day Showcase and Job Fair held by The Austin Democratic Socialists of America (ATXDSA) at Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

The Job Fair portion of the event took place from 1pm-3pm, with AFM433 members tabling alongside members of many other labor unions, including electricians, teachers, nurses, restaurant workers, and state employees.

The following organizations were present for the tabling portion of the event:

AFM433 presence was also strong among the performing musicians. 3 of the 5 acts performing at the event were union groups:

The second tabling event was held at The Ballroom on Sunday, May 7, 2023, where Local 433 members were asked to table at a Local DJ's birthday party. Local 433 members had conversations with performing musicians as well as other attendees.
