Musicians Win Parks and Rec Board Resolution for Fair Pay at SXSW!

The Austin Parks and Recreation Board passed a Resolution for Fair Pay at SXSW at their meeting, Monday, June 26th 2023 at 6pm. The Austin Federation of Musicians along with United Musicians and Allied Workers and other music organizations, rallied outside of City Hall before the meeting to make their voices heard before attending the meeting and offering testimony in favor of The Resolution which was passed by The Board unanimously.Local 433 member and guitarist for Batty Jr., Zeke Jarmon, testifies in favor of the Resolution at The Austin Parks and Recreation Board Meeting.
