International Women's Day Concert Application

The Austin Federation of Musicians and The Music Performance Trust Fund are preparing to present The 2026 International Women's Day Concert at the North Austin School of Music. Applications for performing groups are now being accepted through Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
Union groups and solo acts are encouraged to apply.
Scale wages, plus cartage, plus pension contribution will be paid to musicians. No archive or recording may be produced or kept. The event is live only. No fundraising may be done for any cause regardless of merit as this is a completely free community event. Similarly, tips or donations will not be collected.
Applications will be selected by the Concert Series Committee according to the following criteria:

- Acts must be comprised of at least 50% union members
- Music must be “family friendly” in order to achieve the funding’s goal of “covering all age groups and segments of society.”
- A diversity of genre and geography that represents AFM Local 433’s jurisdiction will be sought.
