Our Union has been blessed with tremendous leadership. The bar has been set, and the challenge has been accepted.

For the first time, an African American has taken the oath of office and ascended to the presidency. Our mission has not changed.

We shall endeavor to create a safe working environment for all musicians and a living wage.

As president, I can promise that we will govern in the sunshine. You will always know the who, what, and how.

I can also promise we will be effective, efficient, and empowering. However, we can't do this alone. We need you. We still have much work to do. Let's lean into it!
