Juneteenth Celebration Concert at The Union Hall, Saturday, June 15th, 2024, 1pm
4818 E. Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78741, 3rd floor meeting hall
Presented by The Austin Federation of Musicians, IBEW Local 520, and The Music Performance Trust Fund
A Free, Family Friendly concert event held at the 3rd floor meeting hall at 4818 E. Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78741 to celebrate the Juneteenth Holiday and to commemorate emancipation in The United States. Feat
ured performers include psychedelic soul singer-songwriter, Sonya Jevette, jazz legend, Pamela Hart with The Ryan Howard Band, and the funk, R&B, and soul sounds of The Ange K Band. Doors open at noon, music runs from 1pm to 5pm.
Speakers will include Hopeton Hay (Diverse Voices Book Review), Gil Jenkins (The Blues Crawlers), and Robyn Wright (AFM Concerts Committee).
