Juneteenth Celebration Concert - June 19th, 2022

The Music Performance Trust Fund created a special initiative to celebrate Juneteenth. This new U.S. federal holiday is to commemorate the end of slavery and to celebrate African American culture. The Austin Federation of Musicians celebrated this event in the I.B.E.W. Local 520 Meeting Hall with three acts and two guest speakers. Sponsors were The Music Performance Trust Fund, AFM Local 433, IBEW Local 520, and Yo Yo Management Entertainment LLC. Photos were contributed by Philip Arno and AFM Local 433 Members.
