The Austin Opera will record it’s first performance of the season later this month to be streamed live for ticket holders and subscribers in the Spring. The program will be a series of arias and overtures from the standard operatic repertoire featuring singers of great renown from the great opera houses around the world. The Austin Symphony Orchestra has just wrapped up it’s season of virtual concerts and will begin transitioning to live performances this month beginning with a series of small ensemble and solo performances around Austin, followed by some socially distanced chamber orchestra performances at the AISD Performing Arts Center, with more yet to be scheduled concerts planned for the rest of spring and summer as we all hopefully make the switch back to live concerts in the fall.
