Are We Non-Essential?

I am a professional musician.
Sometimes people get that confused and think it's a hobby; well, let me dispel that myth.
Music is played on every TV station, every radio show including talk radio.
Music is played on video games.
Music is played at funerals.
Music is played at weddings.
Music is played at bar mitzvahs.
Music is played in clubs.
Music is played in schools.
Can you imagine playing musical chairs without the music? I can't either.
Music is played at churches.
Music is even played in elevators.
Music is played at all sporting events.
Music is played in operas.
Music is played while you are on hold on the phone for crying out loud.
Music is played at parties.
Some people even play music at divorce parties.
Music is played at inaugurations.
Music is played at graduations.
Music is played at political events.
It doesn't matter what side of the aisle you come down on, there will be music.
Music is played when you power up your phone.
Music is played when you power up your computer.
Music is played by doorbells.
Some people even have music playing as their car horn.
Music is played at parades.
Music is played at amusement parks and carnivals.
Music is played on cruise ships.
Music is played by orchestras.
Music is played by bands.
Music is played at hospitals as therapy.
Can you imagine happy birthday as a spoken word as opposed to a song or better yet the ABCs as a spoken word as opposed to a piece?
Music is played for taps for the missing Soldier.
Music is also played at the Kentucky Derby.
Music is also a big part of every movie that you have ever seen or will see.
Music is played on records, tapes and CDs, and MP3s.
As a kid; the ice cream man even played music.
Music is played before the Jack pops out of the box.
Can you imagine carolers coming to your door and not singing? Yeah, me neither. That's music!
Music is even played at the dentist's office. Lord knows you don't want to hear that drill.
Music is played at restaurants while you dine sufficiently.
Music is also played at the circus.
Just so I'm clear, tell me who's not essential again?
