Austin Jazz Workshop Presents 26th Season

“Hoagy Carmichael” Set for 125 Area Campuses
The Austin Jazz Workshop, a nonprofit group of professional musicians dedicated to jazz performance in central Texas public schools, will visit 37,000 area youths in the Austin, Manor, and Round Rock ISDs during our 26th performance season, running now through May 2020.
Hoagy Carmichael’s Heart & Soul features vocalists Julie Slim and Shawnda Birch, backed up by the all-star band of Floyd Domino, Shawn Ellison, Michael Stevens, Glenn Rexach, Masumi Jones, Terrance McDaniel, and Michael Melinger.
